Prithu Mishra
Graduate Researcher@ Georgia Tech
Hi, I'm Prithu Mishra — a Master’s graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech with a passion for research at the intersection of mechanics, optics, and advanced manufacturing. My work is guided by a fascination with how waves, geometry, and materials interact — whether through the deformation of printed lattices, the optimization of manufacturing processes, or the shaping of light in optical systems.
Research Interests
I’m broadly interested in optical system design, computational imaging, and wave-based sensing techniques. At the same time, my work in experimental and computational mechanics—particularly on architected materials and additive manufacturing—has shaped my approach to solving physics-driven engineering problems. I enjoy working at the interface of optics, mechanics, and simulation, where light and structure come together to enable new ways of imaging, measuring, and understanding materials.
